Write An Article for MyNotarySource

When it comes to leveraging your notary service on the internet most people do not take advantage of all that's available to them. There are several options to get your name in front of people but writing articles is possibly the most effective yet underutilized of all.

There might be several reasons for this. Maybe you aren't sure what to say. Or maybe you aren't confident that you can say it well. Either way, I hope this article can provide the necessary encouragement to get you started.

What can I write about?

Notaries enjoy reading just about anything they can find that is related to their job. To be quite honest, there is a lack of resources for notaries public compared to other industries.

If you have been a notary for awhile you have probably learned a few things the hard way. Sharing those experiences with others could lead to finding some exciting business opportunities. Networking relationships abound for notaries, but they don't happen without some effort on your part.

If you are a newer notary, maybe you could write an article about your experience becoming a notary. You could explain why you became one and how easy or difficult the process was. "Become a notary" is one of the most heavily searched phrases (industry related) on Google so it's quite obvious that there is an interest in the subject.

Some of the more popular articles generally serve some sort of instructional purpose. An article about how to properly fill out a particular document, such as the “Right to Cancel” (RTC), would be very helpful.

What if I don't write well?

I'm willing to bet that if you gave it a shot, you could write a lot better than you're willing to admit to yourself. And the only way to improve your writing is to write. Read this article titled, “More Better Writing” for some help. Don’t worry, the title of the article was intentionally written with poor English.

Also, know that I will edit any articles I receive prior to posting them on the website. I’ll correct any grammar errors I come across and possibly rephrase any confusing sentences (or seek further clarification from you). However, I’m far from perfect so don’t rely on me too much!
