Reverse Mortgage Notaries
I've heard several notaries claim that Reverse Mortgages are really no different than a typical refi. If this is something you've said before I would suggest that you learn more about it. If you are contacted by a title company asking if you're available for a Reverse Mortgage signing the last thing you want to tell them is that they are no different than all of the other loans you do. They are liable to pass you by for a more "experienced" notary.

Maybe you have done a few and that's your honest impression. I'd still suggest that you reserve that impression for yourself. Lenders are so concerned about which notaries handle their reverse mortgage signings that many of them will have a loan officer at the signing to help explain the documents. If they don't go that far, they will often attempt to find a notary who specifically states their reverse mortgage experience in their profile.
